Sign up for text alerts about library programs and only
receive info that is of interest to you.

  • ALL our programs - @allmsgs or pick and choose which ones to sign up for...
  • Kids Programs - @kidsprog   (Grades K-5th unless otherwise noted)
  • Teen Programs - @teenlibr   (Grades 6th-12th unless otherwise noted)
  • Adult Programs - @adultprog    (18+ unless otherwise noted)
  • Family Programs - @familyprog    (Storytime, Toddler Time, and all ages programs)

Simply follow the link above and enter your cell phone number or text the "@code" of the list you want to subscribe to to 81010 from your cell phone. Then answer a few quick texts to confirm you are registering yourself (this prevents someone from signing you up without your knowledge). If you'd rather get emails that option is also available through the links above as well.

Things to note:

  1. We will NEVER ask for any personal information other than your name.

  2. You do not need to be a Lillie M. Evans Library District card holder to sign up for these alerts.
  3. The phone number you sign up with will not be visible to library staff and will not be shared with any third parties.

  5. Even if you are signed up for all program message you can expect to only receive a few messages a month.
  6. This library program text alert system, called Remind, is completely separate from the library account text alert system called ShoutBomb. Learn about library account text alerts here.
  7. While the library does not charge for this service, your carrier's message and data rates may apply. Basically if you don't have a text plan (or go over your allotted allowance) your carrier will charge your per text.

 This is the same service several of the Princeville School teachers are using to send messages to  their student's parents.
