Here we are at Bradley University in Peoria, IL. I was really excited to be headed for college so early in my life. I will really have to study hard. I hope I don’t have to live in one of the dorms, I think I might get stepped on. I really would like to go to see the Bradley Braves play but it’s the wrong time of the year. |

Visiting with Homer
Today I visited with Homer, the mascot of the Peoria Chiefs baseball team. I gave him some tips about sliding into home base without getting stepped on. We had a lot of fun playing the book stacking game with all the kids. Homer was really excited about that. Even though the blue team put up a great effort, the red team was triumphant. |
